On behalf of the Banning Unified School District Board of Trustees and Superintendent Davis, we are excited to announce Bryan Downer as the Assistant Principal of Nicolet Middle School for the Banning Unified School District.
Mr. Downer has been in education for 23 years at the Palm Springs Unified School District. Of those years he spent 14 years teaching at the Middle School and 7 years teaching at the high school level. Most recently, he served at the Dean of Students for Rancho Mirage High School. Mr. Downer has been a teacher mentor and a Trainer of Trainers in the use of thinking maps in daily instruction.
Mr. Downer received his Bachelor’s in History from San Marcos University and his Masters in Education from Cal State San Bernardino.
