New website experience coming soon! We are currently working on a new website to better serve the #BanningUSD community, as a result the website will be down until next week. Thank you for your patience! We are excited to roll out the new site soon!
Today was session three where #BanningUSD community partners, teachers, administrators, and union leadership continued working on the stages of NCEE System Design Benchmarking to embark on work to focus on aligning our systems to sustainably improve student performance driven by the calibrated input of district leadership and community partners. This session had very interesting discussions on ensuring students are college and career ready and how we ensure that occurs.
We are excited to continue this work at Banning Unified School District to create a better future for the students we serve.
Congratulations to the following leadership team appointee from Wednesday night's Board of Education meeting: Steven Barriga, Innovation and Technology Officer. He currently serves as the IT Project Manager for the Ed Tech and Information Services Department at SHI International.
When you see Mr. Barriga, be sure to congratulate him on his appointment!
The middle school STEM program was busy at work this morning on projects to code boards that will ultimately display SOS codes with lights! Very cool skills taught to these students by Treobytes. #BanningUSD

The middle school Summer Enrichment Art students have been hard at work all week on paper mache art. From seeing what it looked like at the beginning of the week, balloons, to the Art it became, it was definitely worth the wait! Great job students! #BanningUSD
