Welcome to Banning Unified School District! Our online centralized registration process simplifies enrollment for all new and transferring students from Preschool through 12th grade. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth and efficient registration experience:
Step 1: Submit Supplemental Forms
The supplemental forms are required as part of the registration process. These forms serve to ensure students receive all supplemental services.
The forms must be completed through the Supplemental Forms Portal. Once completed, you will receive an email with the forms attached as a PDF file, which will need to be uploaded during Step 2.
Step 2: Complete Online Registration
Parents or guardians must fill out the New Student Registration Form and upload all required documents through the New Student Registration Portal.
Parents/guardians must also upload the documentation outlined in the "Required Documentation" chart below.
Important: Students residing outside Banning USD’s attendance boundaries must first obtain an Inter-District Transfer release from their district of residence. For more information, visit our Transfer Options page.
Step 3: Registration Review
The Centralized Registration Team will review all submitted information and documents.
Parents/guardians will be contacted if any information or documents are missing.
Step 4: School Assignment
The Centralized Registration office will assign students to a school based on grade level, home address proximity, and available space.
Step 5: School Assignment Notification
A Centralized Registration staff member will contact the parent/guardian with details about the assigned school and the student’s start date.
